What are Tiebacks and Wall Plate Anchors?
Tiebacks and wall plate anchors are a system to repair bowing walls and overturning retaining walls. Tiebacks will use galvanized helical piers to install through the concrete wall at a battered angle to an engineered depth to permanently stabilize and recover deflection in concrete walls. For recovery of deflection, a trench must be dug outside of the foundation wall. Wall plate anchors is a system of galvanized steel plates that utilize the native soil load outside of the bowing or leaning wall to stabilize the wall from future movement.
